2008/12/11 The Charleston MOAA Chapter continues its Traditional support of Marines Toys for Tots program.for the 13th consecutive year the Chapter provided sports balls as gifts. Sports balls are especially desired by the Marines because they are not age or gender specific. The presentation was hosted by Charleston's Ch.2 weather forecaster Rob Fowler
 

2008/10/31 Charleston MOAA Visits the Cypress Gardens for the day. Members enjoyed a day in the swamp that offered a guided canoe tour of the swamp,an easy walk on trails in the swamp, a ramble through the Butterfly House and ended with a delicious BBQ lunch and drawing for prizes

2007/12/18 The Charleston MOAA dinner party was entertained by the
College Park Middle School Chorus. This group of middle school kids will be
competing in a major middle school level competition in January.

2007/12/18 The College Park Middle School entertained Charleston MOAA Chapter members at our Christmas dinner party. We were told that it is traditional for audience members to stand during this number and everyone abided by tradition and stood for the performance.
